Refund policy
Entry to a b*trail event is non-refundable. We're a small operation and the cost of venue access, marshals, timing, signage, medics and infrastructure is committed well before race day. Once you've entered, that money has already gone out the door.
What you can do instead:
Transfer your entry to another runner. Up to [14 days] before event day, with a £5 admin fee. Email with your name and the new participant's name, date of birth, email and emergency contact.
Move to another btrail event. Up to [14 days] before event day, you can move your entry to any btrail event in the following 12 months. £5 admin fee. If the new event is more expensive, pay the difference. If it's cheaper, no top-up. Each entry can be transferred once.
Defer to the same event next year. Up to [14 days] before event day, with a £5 admin fee. Subject to availability.
After the [14 day] cut-off, no transfers, refunds or deferrals. Race packs are printed and timing chips allocated by then.
If we cancel an event. If we cancel for reasons within our control, you'll be offered a transfer to another b*trail event within 12 months, or a refund of your entry fee (less any third-party booking and processing fees).
If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control (extreme weather, landowner withdrawal, public health restrictions, natural disaster, force majeure) we'll reschedule where possible. Your entry will move to the new date at no charge. If the new date doesn't work, you can transfer to another b*trail event within 12 months. No refunds will be given for events affected by circumstances outside our control.
We strongly recommend taking out independent event insurance (e.g. via Refundable, ROAM, or your own provider) if you want cover against personal injury, illness or any other reason you might not be able to take part.
Merchandise. Physical items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, provided they're unworn, unwashed and in original condition with tags attached. Return postage is your responsibility. Personalised or made-to-order items are non-returnable.
